Oh God our help in ages past,
Our help in days to come.
Our shelter from the stormy blast
And our eternal home.

It is National Week of Prayer for the Healing of AIDS again and we lift up our brothers and sisters who are both afflicted and affected by this disease and the aftermath it leaves on those who serve as caregiver and spiritual nurturers and guides.

Sometimes we get a little weary working in the trenches but you are our bright light that helps us to know that we've come a long way since the 80's when doctors didn't even know what to call the disease and we are now on the brink of a cure.  We know that YOU are Jehovah Rophe, the divine Healer and Sustainer of life.

We pray that 2014 will be The Week of Celebration of all who are now Healed from AIDS as it has become a thing of the past. We give you praise and proclaim that victory now because we have that kind of faith in you. For you are our rock and our redeemer.
